All Moves

Command	Move	Description
Triangle/Y	Double Slash/Circle Slash	A fundamental combo starter. A Double Slash initiates the combo; a second Triangle/Y input performs a Circle Slash.
Circle/B	Lunging Strike/Roundslash	A slashing attack that moves you towards the target (analog stick direction). A second input executes a Roundslash.
R2/RT	Demon Mode	Activates Demon Mode, boosting attack power, movement speed, evasion, and granting knockback immunity.
Triangle/Y + Circle/B (Demon Mode)	Blade Dance I, II, III	Powerful chained attacks in Demon Mode, consuming the Demon Gauge.

L2/LT + R1/RB	Focus Strike: Turning Tide	A powerful slash, especially effective against wounded monsters. Hitting a wound triggers a Midair Spinning Blade Dance, potentially damaging multiple wounds.

Demon Mode/Demon Gauge and Archdemon Mode

The Dual Blades feature a unique Demon Gauge. Demon Mode, activated via R2/RT, increases attack power, movement speed, evasion, and grants knockback immunity but consumes stamina. Successful attacks in Demon Mode fill the Demon Gauge. A full gauge activates Archdemon Mode, which depletes over time but allows access to powerful, gauge-consuming attacks. Mounting a monster halts Demon Gauge depletion.

Demon Dodge

A powerful state triggered by a Perfect Evade, increasing damage (regular and elemental) and enabling attacks during dodges. The 12-second buff allows damaging spin attacks with subsequent dodges.
