The Forge Falcons Rolls Out Helldivers 2-Inspired PvE Mode in Halo InfiniteAvailable Now for Xbox and PC!
Halo community development studio The Forge Falcons has recently launched "Helljumpers," a new player-made PvE mode that brings a unique twist to Halo Infinite. Known as the "Helldivers 2 mode" of the military sci-fi shooter franchise, Helljumpers is now available for free in Early Access for Xbox and PC in Halo Infinite Custom Games.
Built using Halo Infinite's mapmaking tool, Forge, Helljumpers is "a 4 Player PvE experience inspired by Helldivers 2," the hit 2024 shooter title by Arrowhead Game Studios, as described by The Forge Falcons. The PvE mode offers: custom-made stratagems; a new, highly detailed urban map with randomized objectives; and a progression system that mimics Helldivers 2's upgrade unlock system.
In Helljumpers, players delve into the battlefield six times per game ala Helldivers, as well as select their personalized loadouts before dropping into the map. Pick from weapons ranging from Assault Rifles, Sidekick pistols, and more. The weapons you select can also be respawned on the dropship. Additionally, players can do upgrades using perks which are composed of: health upgrades, damage upgrades, and speed upgrades. Players will have to complete three objectives, consisting of one story objective and two main objectives, once they're on the ground before extraction.
