Jump King's 2D Platformer Hits Mobile Worldwide with Expansions

Jump King

Jump King, the 2D platformer renowned for challenging gamers with its rage-inducing mechanics, has now made its way to mobile devices. Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO Publishing, the game has been globally released for Android and iOS following a successful soft launch in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark back in March. Originally launched on PC in 2019 and on consoles in 2020, Jump King retains its signature brutal jumping mechanics on mobile.

What’s Jump King on Mobile Like?

In Jump King, you take on the role of an armored character with a singular mission: to jump. But these jumps demand precision and perfection; any misstep sends you tumbling back to the start. The game autosaves after each jump, making every leap critical. Your ultimate goal? To ascend to the summit and meet the Smoking Hot Babe of Legend. There are no shortcuts here; one miscalculated jump means starting over from the bottom.

The mobile version features intuitive controls tailored for touchscreens. Simply hold to charge your jump and release to soar. It’s a test of precision, patience, and often, panic-driven decisions.

What Else Should You Know?

Jump King Mobile operates on a heart-based system, starting you off with 300 hearts. Each fall costs you one heart. You can replenish your hearts by spinning a daily fortune wheel, which offers between 10 and 150 hearts, or by watching ads, with a maximum of 150 free hearts obtainable this way.

The mobile version comes packed with two full expansions. New Babe+ introduces a second chapter with a unique and challenging path. Ghost of the Babe, on the other hand, plunges you into a third act set in a hauntingly empty landscape beyond Philosopher’s Forest.

If Jump King sounds like your kind of challenge, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
