MiHoYo’s Upcoming Animal Crossing-Like Game Astaweave Haven Now Has a New Name!

MiHoYo, the Chinese parent company of HoYoVerse, has been cooking a lot lately. Their upcoming game Astaweave Haven apparently has a new name now. Yeah, even before we got a sneak peek, the game is undergoing changes. Hope it’s for good!If you’re into gacha games or RPGs, Astaweave Haven is a name you might’ve already heard. If not, let me tell you what it is. Uh, well, there hasn’t been much official info on the game from MiHoYo, though. But from what we know, this upcoming title could be a big departure from HoYoVerse’s usual formula of open-world gacha adventures.Astaweave Haven is a potential life-sim or management-based game, something like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. And that brings us to our topic of the day: MiHoYo’s new name for Astaweave Haven! The game is going to be called Petit Planet.I’m all in for the new name of Astaweave Haven. Petit Planet sounds cuter and also gives away vibes that it could be a management sim game and not one of MiHoYo’s typical gacha RPGs.When Is the Game Launching?The game is in the works with no official details out yet. Astaweave Haven was approved in China for both PC and mobile versions back in July this year. On October 31st (last week), HoYoVerse registered for Petit Planet. The new name is now awaiting approval in the U.S. and U.K.MiHoYo/HoYoVerse is known for keeping up the momentum without slowing down. Remember how they launched Zenless Zone Zero right after Honkai: Star Rail?
