Destiny: Rising has arrived on Android devices, bringing Bungie's acclaimed sci-fi universe to mobile platforms for the first time. As an online multiplayer FPS series that debuted in September 2014, Destiny makes its portable debut with this ambitious adaptation.
The mobile version retains core Destiny experiences like six-player Raids and three-player Strikes while introducing roguelike elements and innovative PvPvE combat. Social features include Sparrow Racing, Clan Housing systems, and even Fishing minigames.
The launch kicks off with the Season 0 Week One Gauntlet event featuring exclusive emblems before transitioning to global Season 1 competitions with worldwide leaderboards.
The game explores an alternate timeline predating the original series, chronicling the rise of the Iron Lords during humanity's Dark Age. Players become Wolf - a customizable Lightbearer wielding powerful Relics - or can take control of franchise icons like Ikora Rey.
The free-to-play title is now available on Google Play. For more gaming news, check our coverage of Nintendo's Hello, Mario! interactive experience.
