Stranger Things 5 Premiere Dates Unveiled with New Teaser

Netflix has unveiled a new teaser trailer for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, announcing that the new episodes will roll out in three batches. Volume 1 premieres November 26 at 5 PM PT, Volume 2 arrives on Christmas Day (December 25) at 5 PM PT, and The Finale debuts on New Year’s Eve (December 31) at 5 PM PT.

Season 5’s Volume 1 includes four episodes, Volume 2 contains three, and the finale stands as a standalone event. All episodes drop simultaneously worldwide—check here for exact release times in your region.

Regarding the plot, Netflix has released this synopsis:

“In the fall of 1987, Hawkins bears the scars of the Rifts’ emergence, and our heroes rally behind one mission: find and destroy Vecna,” the official description states. “But he has disappeared—his location and schemes unclear. Their task grows more difficult as the military locks down the town under quarantine and intensifies its pursuit of Eleven, driving her back into hiding.

“As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance draws near, a familiar and crushing dread returns. The ultimate conflict is approaching—and with it, a darkness more formidable and lethal than anything they've encountered. To end this nightmare, everyone—the entire party—must unite, one last time.”

Netflix had previously shared the episode titles for Stranger Things Season 5, which arrives more than three years after Season 4 concluded.
