The Sifetu_Selat app teaches the precise method of performing Selah (prayer) as instructed by the Prophet (peace be upon him). This app is based on the book formally written by Mohammed Nasirudin Alalbany. We have faithfully preserved his original Arabic text and added Amharic translations to reach a wider audience of Ethiopian Muslims. We are not Islamic scholars and lack the expertise to determine the correct order of practices for Ethiopian Muslims. We welcome assistance from anyone who can provide accurate translated materials to ensure the app’s content is culturally appropriate and religiously sound. We are happy to incorporate these contributions at no cost.
