Fortnite's Next Season: "Wanted" – A Heist-Themed Adventure

Epic Games has unveiled the new Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's upcoming season, officially titled "Wanted." This heist-themed season promises high-octane action, featuring villainous characters, gold-filled getaway vehicles, and explosive bank vaults.

The season kicks off on February 21st and includes a thrilling collaboration with Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero, the iconic Mortal Kombat character, will be a featured Battle Pass skin, perfectly complementing the season's robbery theme.

This collaboration coincides with the marketing campaign for Mortal Kombat 2, the upcoming film starring Karl Urban and Adeline Rudolph.

Skins will be available for purchase using V-Bucks, priced at 1,500 V-Bucks each.

Returning weapons include the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons remain unannounced, speculation based on Chapter 4 Season 4 (a previous heist-themed season) suggests the possible return of the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler. These are currently unconfirmed.

A significant addition is the Smart Building mechanic, which anticipates player building needs based on aiming direction.

Gameplay will feature a revamped vault-breaching system, replacing keycards with the use of Meltanite, a Fortnite equivalent of thermite, to access valuable loot.
