Uncover a Hidden Romance in Baldur's Gate 3: Naoise Nallinto

While Baldur's Gate 3 boasts many well-known romance options, a secret encounter with Naoise Nallinto awaits those who venture off the beaten path. This guide reveals how to find and romance this intriguing character at Sharess' Caress.

Locating Naoise Nallinto

This fleeting romance unfolds in Act III. After reaching Wyrm's Crossing on your journey to Baldur's Gate, visit Sharess' Caress, a brothel located east of the bridge leading into the city. If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, use the South Span fast-travel point for direct access.

Sharess' Caress Exterior

Naoise resides in the Nymph's Grotto, a chamber on the second floor. Look for a door with a green light and ivy – it's locked but easily pickable (requires a Thieves' Tools check of 10 or higher).

Initiating the Romance

Inside, you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier. Interfering will trigger a confrontation. Choose dialogue options carefully; selecting "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken" initiates a sequence where Jara transforms into a Mindflayer. Defeat her to proceed.

Naoise's interest in Mindflayers opens a unique romantic opportunity. Responding with "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset," followed by "What did you have in mind?" and "Close your eyes and listen," leads to a mental romance scene.

Dialogue Option

Naoise will ask you to choose what you "will be." Selecting "Contented" (among other options like Revered, Powerful, Rich, or ending the encounter) triggers the scene. This encounter is unique; it's a mental experience, and Naoise will not be interested in further romantic interactions after this. Note that this romance is possible even if your character is already involved with another companion.

Upon completion, Shadowheart will grant you the "Carnal Rituals of Sharess" inspiration point. The Rapture boon, providing a passive 1d6 bonus to various ability checks, is also bestowed.
