After Four Years of Launch, Alchemy Stars Shutting Down and Getting an Offline Version

Alchemy Stars is shutting down its online services on January 24th, 2025, but will transition to an offline version. This means players can still enjoy the game's story and progress after the shutdown date.

Shutdown and Offline Transition:

The game's live service ends January 24th, 2025. A crucial update (version 1.43.0) will be released on January 10th, 2025, from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT. This update introduces a local data save feature, allowing players to preserve their game progress. Players must save their data before January 24th, 4:00 GMT; unsaved data will be lost permanently.

The offline version will be a final release with no further updates. Deleting the app will make it irretrievable, and reinstalling won't be possible. The offline version allows players to revisit the story, upgrade units, and explore their saved progress.

Actionable Steps for Players:

  • Update: Update to version 1.43.0 after the January 10th maintenance.
  • Save Data: Locate the data save button on the main menu and save your progress before January 24th, 4:00 GMT. Multiple saves are permitted until this deadline.
  • Download: Download the game from the Google Play Store before the online servers shut down.

The offline version offers a better alternative to complete closure. Stay tuned for our upcoming news on Play Together's first 2025 update, featuring new Club features!
