NBA 2K25 Releases First 2025 Update

NBA 2K25 Update 4.0: Season 4 Prep and Gameplay Refinements

NBA 2K25's latest major update paves the way for Season 4 (launching January 10th) with significant improvements across gameplay, visuals, and various game modes. This patch delivers enhanced realism, stability fixes, and visual updates, addressing player feedback and preparing for the upcoming season's content.

Key updates include refined player likenesses (featuring updated appearances for Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid, and many others), court adjustments (correcting logo scaling and updating the Emirates NBA Cup court), and uniform refinements (including sponsor patch updates).

Gameplay Enhancements (Patch 4.0):

This update focuses on boosting realism and player control. The "Light Pressure" shot mechanic now features three distinct levels (Weak, Moderate, Strong), providing more nuanced shot feedback. The Offensive 3 Seconds rule has been added to 1v1 Proving Grounds. Performance and stability enhancements have also been implemented for City and Pro-Am modes.

  • MyCAREER: Fixes address progression issues, ensuring proper badge unlocks and preventing skipped NBA Cup games.
