Pokémon GO Announces Beloved Buddies Event to Enhance Trainer Bonds

Pokémon GO's Beloved Buddies event is bringing exciting new Pokémon, bonuses, and raid battles! This event focuses on strengthening your bond with your Pokémon and features the debut of a highly anticipated Pokémon.

Event Dates:

The Beloved Buddies event runs from February 11th to February 15th.

Dhelmise Debuts:

Get ready to encounter and catch Dhelmise, the Sea Creeper Pokémon, for the very first time in Pokémon GO! This Pokémon will be featured in raids.

Event Bonuses:

• Double XP: Catching Pokémon will award double the usual XP.
• Extended Lures: Lure Modules will last for a full hour. These lures will attract Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching these Pokémon will also grant an additional 500 Stardust.

Increased Wild Pokémon Encounters:

Prepare for increased encounters with various Pokémon, including Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce! Other Pokémon appearing more frequently include Nidoran, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.

Raid Battles:

A variety of raid battles await:

• One-Star Raids: Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp (with an increased shiny rate for Skrelp).
• Three-Star Raids: Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise.
• Five-Star Raids: Enamorus (Incarnate Forme).
• Mega Raids: Mega Tyranitar.
