Unlocking Mounts in Rune Slayer: A Comprehensive Guide

Rune Slayer offers an engaging MMORPG experience within Roblox, complete with quests, crafting, dungeons, and even fishing. However, the method for acquiring a mount isn't immediately obvious. This guide will walk you through the process.

Prerequisites: Reaching Level 20 and Taming a Pet

Before you can ride, you'll need two things:

• Level 20: Reaching level 20 requires completing quests, jobs, and defeating enemies. This should take approximately 5-6 hours, potentially less with friends.

• A Tamed Pet: A quest will guide you through pet taming. The process involves:

  1. Locating a tamable animal (deer, wolf, spider, etc.).
  2. Attacking it once.
  3. Presenting the animal with its preferred food (apples for deer, raw deer meat for wolves).
  4. Observing the heart above its head; a fully grown heart indicates successful taming, while a black heart signifies failure. Try again with a different animal if you fail.

Completing the Mount Quest

Once you've reached level 20 and tamed a pet, proceed as follows:

1. Locate Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire: He'll offer the "Jimmy's Delivery" quest.

2. Deliver the Package: Travel north through Wayshire, across Greatwood Forest, to Ashenshire (look for large houses on tall trees).

3. Find Madonna the Stable Master: Use the rope to climb and speak to Madonna, the first NPC you encounter. Select "I have a package for you."

4. Return to Wayshire: Backtrack to Wayshire.

5. Claim Your Reward: Speak with Jimmy; he'll give you a saddle. The saddle won't appear in your inventory.

Mounting Your Pet

1. Summon Your Pet: Press "T" to summon your pet.

2. Mount Your Pet: Approach your pet and press "E" to select the "Mount" option. This works with all mountable pets.
